
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40116

This training is primarily conducted for MVT’s own prospective training and assessing staff. We are however welcoming of others who may wish to obtain this qualification through us. This is the minimum qualification required for people who are involved in training and assessing through the VET sector.
Course Details
Entry Requirements: There are no academic entry requirements for this qualification, however, learners must demonstrate vocational competency in their area of proposed teaching and assessment. Learners will also need to be involved in a context where they have the opportunity to develop training materials and assessment that is suitable for VET.
Learners will need a satisfactory grasp of English skills (reading, writing, and speaking). Learners are also advised to have a mentor who can guide and support them in their studies.
There are 9 core units and 1 elective.
Stream A Brisbane: Delivered online or in a combination of online + face-to-face workshops at the Gaythorne campus. $2695* Tuition Fees + resources (texts and source material) for each unit.
Stream B Adelaide: Delivered via a combination of face-to-face workshops/blended at the Adelaide campus. $2695* Tuition Fees.
* Fees for RPL commence at 50% of tuition fee but may be charged at a higher rate for more involved assessment up to, but not more than the course tuition fees
