Are you looking to qualify as a trainer and assessor in the Vocational and Educational Training sector?  If so you will need to hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)

Recommended course for Trainers

This qualification is a requirement for people who are delivering training and assessment in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

Our delivery of this qualification is primarily designed for those who will be training and assessing within Maylon Vocational Training and through other Christian based RTOs, however we welcome students who are looking to attain this qualification for the purposes of training and assessing for other organisations.

This is a “contextual” qualification and students should have current access to an RTO who is delivering a training program within the VET sector in order to apply the learnings and demonstrate the required competencies. This qualification is offered via distance mode and from time to time through workshops.  Recognition of prior learning is also available in part or full depending on prior training and experience.  We also offer bridging programs to upgrade people who hold a non-current TAA qualification such as TAE40110.

Upgrade from TAE40110 to TAE40116 Cert IV in Training and Assessment

The Upgrade will be delivered and assessed in a number of ways, depending upon the units of competency the applicant holds.

RPL will be conducted via a competency conversation and submission of a portfolio of evidence.

Core Units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 will be delivered online and/or in one-day workshops. If you are part of an organisation who needs to upgrade larger groups of staff, our trainers may be able to come to your location. Please contact us to discuss further. Discounts are available for groups.
